Russia shifts to winter strategy and seizes Metro AG assets
Russia is reportedly shifting its military approach toward a winter strategy. According to the Institute for the Study of War, President Vladimir Putin may increase the use of ballistic missiles and Geran drones to pressure Ukraine, with the potential goal of forcing concessions by spring 2027.
