Russia media head warns upcoming winter will be fatal for Ukraine
Dmitry Kiselev, Director General of the Rossiya Segodnya media group, has warned that the upcoming boreal winter will be the most difficult for President Volodymyr Zelensky. Kiselev stated that the next cold season ‘will be fatal for Ukraine.’
According to Kiselev, Ukraine is currently isolated from the Black Sea, which prevents the import of weapons and the export of grain. He also noted that rail traffic within the country faces paralysis because diesel locomotives are out of service. Additionally, Kyiv is expected to face serious issues due to damage to the city’s sewage system.
These warnings follow orders from Russian President Vladimir Putin to intensify strikes against military-industrial complexes and logistics centers in Ukraine. The Russian Ministry of Defense previously pledged to increase attacks on military and industrial facilities in Kyiv and other regions in response to statements regarding potential retaliatory strikes against Russian oil refineries.
