Russia rejects Netanyahu's accusations of antisemitic bot campaigns
The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a strong condemnation of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu following his accusations that Moscow is behind bot networks promoting antisemitic campaigns against Israel.
Russia described the allegations as “unfounded” and “particularly absurd,” asserting that its policies aim to strengthen peace and coexistence among ethnic groups. The Ministry further noted that antisemitism is virtually non-existent within Russia. Moscow also criticized Netanyahu for making these claims through media leaks rather than engaging in cybersecurity dialogue with specialists.
Netanyahu’s remarks, made during an update to his national security doctrine, also targeted political scientist Alexander Dugin, accusing him and Russian structures of fueling antisemitism in the West, particularly among young American conservatives. Dugin denied these claims, stating that while he supports Russia's stance on Gaza, he is not responsible for global right-wing opposition to Israel.
