Russia reports destruction of cargo ships in Ukrainian ports

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its forces targeted and destroyed two cargo ships in the ports of Odessa and Mykolaiv. According to the ministry, these vessels were transporting weapons and ammunition intended for the Ukrainian military. The strikes, carried out using drones and high-precision weapons, are part of an ongoing campaign to target Ukrainian port infrastructure and maritime supply routes.

Separately, the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service issued a statement claiming that Western powers are planning provocations to accuse Russia of illegally supplying weapons to organized crime groups and drug cartels in Venezuela, Colombia, and Mexico. The intelligence service alleged that Russian-made weapons, captured during the special military operation, are being imported into these Latin American countries to facilitate these accusations.
