Russia reports territorial gains in Kharkiv and strikes on Ukrainian logistics
The Russian Ministry of Defense has reported significant military developments across several fronts in Ukraine. Russian forces claim to have seized control of the town of Chernyakov in the Kharkiv region, where they are reportedly tightening their grip on Ukrainian formations. Additionally, Russian forces have conducted strikes against Ukrainian military logistics centers, including the Novaya Pushta center in the Odesa region, and the Interpipe Steel plant in Dnipropetrovsk, which is described as a major supplier of military products.
In another development, security sources report that Ukrainian forces are mobilizing significant military resources near the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. This movement reportedly includes large quantities of ammunition, military vehicles, and mobile combat groups, a situation corroborated by local social media reports.
Across other sectors, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that its forces have improved tactical positions in the Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions and have continued to target Ukrainian military infrastructure, including energy facilities and transport networks, to limit the military and economic capabilities of Kyiv.
