Russia says it will not abandon negotiations with Ukraine

Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin told Sputnik Serbia that Russia remains committed to negotiations with Kyiv and is ready to consider constructive proposals, including new formats for contacts. He said Ukraine terminated the talks and has blocked their continuation, while Russia has never refused to discuss solutions.

The ongoing negotiation process is complicated by the opposing positions of the two sides, the difficulty of selecting a neutral venue, and what Moscow describes as destructive policies of some Western states that continue to supply weapons to Ukraine.
