Russia strikes agricultural facilities in Ukraine's Chernigov region

Russian forces have bombed agricultural company facilities in Priluki, located in the Chernigov region of Ukraine, resulting in at least three deaths and seven injuries. This strike is part of an intensified campaign by Moscow targeting food storage and production infrastructure across Ukraine.

Ukrainian police in the Chernigov region have launched a war crimes investigation into the bombing. Authorities have warned residents to stay away from the impact site due to the risk of follow-up attacks while rescue operations are underway.

These systematic strikes on food storage and everyday goods have led to product shortages in Ukrainian supermarkets, particularly in areas near Kyiv such as Brovari and Borispil. Meanwhile, Russian Presidential spokesperson Dmitri Peskov stated that Russia welcomes calls for Ukraine to cease attacks on Russian economic infrastructure, citing diesel shortages caused by Ukrainian strikes on Russian refineries.
