Russia strikes Boryspil amid Putin's call for war unity

Russia launched ballistic missile strikes on the Boryspil suburb in Ukraine, occurring during a visit to Kyiv by German official Johann Wadephul. The attack, involving at least three missiles, resulted in at least two deaths and eight injuries, according to regional authorities. Damage was reported to residential houses, warehouses, and a gas station.

In Moscow, President Vladimir Putin addressed a United Russia party congress, calling for national unity to sustain the ongoing war against Ukraine. Alongside Dmitry Medvedev, Putin emphasized the necessity of collective effort to achieve victory. Medvedev asserted that Russia would continue to reclaim territory and characterized those who left the country as traitors.
