Russia strikes Ukrainian military and strategic infrastructure
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported conducting extensive airstrikes across Ukraine using high-precision weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) targeting military and strategic infrastructure.
A primary target in Kyiv was the De Novo data center, which the Ministry identified as a critical hub for the processing, storage, and transmission of information for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as a major node for internet traffic.
In the Kyiv region, strikes reportedly hit the Nalivaykovka electrical substation, the Vyshhorod Hydroelectric Power Plant, the Tripilska Thermal Power Plant, and an energy storage park in the village of Gorenychi.
In the Odessa region, the strikes targeted an industrial-production complex at the Port of Izmail containing weapons and fuel depots belonging to the Ukrainian military. Additionally, a vessel reportedly carrying military equipment and dual-use ammunition was struck at the Port of Odessa. The Russian Ministry stated these operations were a response to Ukrainian actions and emphasized that targets including decision-making centers, defense industry facilities, and depots used by NATO experts would continue to be targeted.
