Russian forces have launched a series of strikes targeting Ukraine's telecommunications and digital infrastructure, marking a shift toward the physical destruction of data centers. In Kyiv, attacks hit the headquarters of Kyivstar, Ukraine's largest mobile operator, and data centers belonging to Vodafone Ukraine, Ukrtelecom, and DreamLine. These strikes have caused significant internet outages, affecting approximately 100,000 households and disrupting various media services, including military broadcasters.

Beyond telecommunications, the strikes targeted military logistics and fuel infrastructure. Reported targets include a Zammler Group warehouse in the Kyiv region used for Western military aid, fuel facilities in Kyiv, and the Vasylkiv military airfield. In the Odesa region, a Nova Poshta logistics center containing military cargo and several vessels in the ports of Chernomorsk and Izmail were hit. Ukrainian authorities also reported the destruction of UAV storage facilities in Mykolaiv and Odesa.

In response, Ukrainian Prime Minister Serhii Koretskyi stated the country is preparing for a worst-case scenario by diversifying critical infrastructure through underground installations, cloud-based systems, and foreign-based services. The campaign has also resulted in civilian casualties in cities such as Dnipro, Kharkiv, and Kyiv.
