Russia targets Ukrainian logistics centers and military cargo ships
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its armed forces have conducted mass strikes targeting Ukrainian logistics facilities and maritime vessels used by the Ukrainian military.
According to the ministry, attack drones targeted the DHL logistics center in Bogubry and the Zamler trade and logistics center in Boryspil, Kyiv region. The ministry stated the latter was being used to store and distribute military shipments provided by Western nations. In the Odesa region, strikes hit a logistics center in Nerobaysky, used for distributing military cargo arriving at the Port of Odesa, as well as a dry cargo ship carrying military equipment at the Yuzhny port.
Russian official Rodion Miroshnik noted that approximately 8,000 ships carrying military shipments have passed through Odesa ports over the last three years, justifying the targeting of these maritime routes. Russia maintains that it uses attack drones and long-range precision weapons to target infrastructure used by the Ukrainian military to limit its military and economic capabilities.
