Russia targets Ukrainian port infrastructure amid military escalations
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its forces targeted Ukrainian port infrastructure and logistics centers. Specifically, the Russian military struck the ‘Bloom’ logistics center in the Odessa region, which is reportedly used for storing military and dual-use shipments intended for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Additionally, Russia claimed to have targeted a cargo ship transporting military equipment to the port of Odessa.
On the other side of the conflict, the Ukrainian Navy claimed to have destroyed six Russian Su-34M fighter-bombers during an attack on the Borisoglebsk airport in the Voronezh region of Russia.
Amidst the military escalations, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy issued sharp criticisms of U.S. President Donald Trump. Zelenskyy expressed frustration regarding the perceived withdrawal of U.S. intelligence support and issues with Starlink satellite services. He also criticized the White House for its stance on trade relations with Russia and personally attacked Trump’s affinity for autocratic leaders, following decisions regarding the lifting of sanctions on Russian diesel.
