Russia threatens British military targets over Ukraine missile technology transfer FAST-MOVING

Russia has issued a direct warning to the United Kingdom, stating that British military facilities and equipment located both within Ukraine and elsewhere could become legitimate targets for Russian strikes. This escalation follows the UK government's decision to share classified technology with Ukraine, enabling the domestic production of Storm Shadow long-range cruise missiles.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova accused the UK and France of ‘playing with fire’ by providing sensitive missile technology to Kyiv. She warned that such actions risk pushing the conflict to a ‘fundamentally new level.’ Additionally, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that the Russian military is actively identifying production sites for these missiles to facilitate their destruction.

In response, British Prime Minister Andy Burnham has asserted that the United Kingdom will not be intimidated by Russian threats. He emphasized the nation's commitment to its support for Ukraine, questioning the responsibility for the current escalation.
