Russia threatens European arms factories supplying Ukraine

Russia has issued warnings that European defense facilities producing weaponry for Ukraine could be considered legitimate military targets. Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that no one should assume that military plants outside Ukrainian territory supplying the Kyiv regime will be safe.

These comments follow reports regarding Poland's efforts to establish a service center for Patriot missile systems in Europe, with potential long-term plans for local production. Such initiatives aim to secure supply chains and facilitate the replenishment of stocks following US plans to license anti-aircraft missiles to Ukraine.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov also addressed the situation, referencing provisions within Russia's military doctrine during a meeting of the Valdai Discussion Club.
