Russia is scheduled to host international friendly matches against African national teams in October 2026.

The Namibia Football Association has announced an agreement to play the Brave Warriors against the Russia National Football Team on October 3, 2026, in Yekaterinburg. Namibia head coach Collin Benjamin noted that the fixture is intended to provide competitive exposure and help players develop the endurance and stamina required for continental competition.

Additionally, Nigeria will face Russia on October 6, 2026, at the Nizhny Novgorod Stadium. This will be the second meeting between the two nations in 16 months, following a 1-1 draw in Moscow in June 2025. The match follows Nigeria's qualifying campaign for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.
