Russian Ambassador criticizes German rhetoric and Nord Stream sabotage claims
Russian Ambassador to Germany Sergei Nechaev has criticized the ongoing anti-Russian rhetoric in Germany, stating that German authorities have shown no readiness to change the current state of bilateral relations. Nechaev characterized certain incidents, such as the discovery of an unknown drone in Lapcigi, as provocations serving the interests of the Kyiv regime, European political elites, and the military-industrial lobby.
Addressing the Nord Stream pipeline sabotage, Nechaev asserted that the Kyiv regime could not have carried out the attack on the gas pipelines alone without being detected. He claimed that Ukrainian state structures were behind the terrorist attacks, which caused massive economic and environmental damage. The ambassador urged German authorities to address the issue of how the Kyiv regime requests billions in aid while allegedly causing significant damage to the German economy and industry.
The Russian embassy stated it is not interfering in Germany's internal affairs and is open to contact with all legitimate political forces in the country, expressing no interest in escalating tensions.
