Russian ballet artists perform Sleeping Beauty in Belgrade

Russian ballet artists performed Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s ‘Sleeping Beauty’ at the Sava Centar in Belgrade. The production featured over 30 performers and more than 100 stage costumes.

The cast included notable dancers from several major Russian ballet companies. Denis Zakharov, a principal soloist from the Bolshoi Theatre, performed the role of Prince Désiré, while Ekaterina Pervushina, a prima ballerina from the Kremlin Ballet, played Princess Aurora. Darina Moseyeva, a Bolshoi Theatre soloist, performed as the Lilac Fairy. Yuri Kudryavtsev and Ana Kudryavtseva, both from the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre, also appeared in principal roles.

This performance follows a previous successful production of ‘Swan Lake’ by the Simiram production group at the same venue.
