Russian Defense Ministry Launches Ukraine Logistics Strikes and Plans Home‑Front Service Consolidation

President Vladimir Putin met with the leadership of the Russian Defense Ministry, including Defense Minister Andrei Belousov, to discuss consolidating all home‑front services into a single entity. Putin said, "At the suggestion of the Minister of Defense, it was decided to concentrate all the home front services in one service, and I would like to draw your attention to the fact that in modern conditions this is also combat, quite combat work." The meeting covered financial, organisational and international issues.

The Russian Defense Ministry later reported a large‑scale overnight strike on transport and logistics hubs in Kyiv and the Kyiv region. Targets included UAV component facilities such as MLP‑Chayka, dual‑use goods sorting complexes, UAV manufacturing and supply sites, an automated warehouse, and three dry cargo ships south of Odessa carrying weapons for the Ukrainian army.
