Russian drones attack Ukrainian medical teams and Zaporijjia city

Russian FPV drones are increasingly targeting Ukrainian medical personnel, ambulances and hospitals near the front line. Médecins Sans Frontières reports that its mobile clinics have been forced to withdraw to more than 30 km from combat zones and that ambulance services in the city of Sloviansk have been halted. Staff say they operate under constant threat, with local police sometimes dispatched in place of medical vehicles.

In the eastern city of Zaporijjia, authorities are responding to the same drone threat by installing large anti‑drone nets and deploying detection systems to protect residents. The measures reflect a broader escalation of drone use by Russian forces and the growing insecurity for civilians and humanitarian workers in the conflict zone.
