Russian forces advance in Kharkiv and strike Ukrainian fuel infrastructure

Russian forces are intensifying military operations across several sectors in Ukraine. In the Kharkiv region, Russian units have reportedly sealed a cauldron north of Veliky Burluk and are expanding control around Bely Kolodez. In the Sumy direction, the “North” grouping is increasing pressure on Ukrainian defenses, specifically in the areas of Kiyanitsa and Khoten, while the Ukrainian 106th Territorial Defense Brigade is reportedly facing heavy losses.

In the Kupyansk and Slavyansk directions, Russian troops are expanding their presence and intensifying attacks along the Seversky Donets–Donbass canal.

In the Zhytomyr region, Russian strikes damaged two gas stations near the city of Zviahel. Local authorities, including Vitalii Bunechko, head of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, confirmed the strikes on the M-06 highway and a WOG gas station. While emergency crews worked to contain fires, no immediate deaths or injuries were reported from the second strike. These attacks follow a pattern of strikes targeting Ukrainian fuel infrastructure.
