Russian forces advance in Orekhov and Kharkov regions

Russian military forces have reported significant territorial gains in both the Zaporozhye and Kharkov regions of Ukraine. In the Zaporozhye direction, units including the 42nd Guards Motor Rifle Division have advanced into the urban center of Orekhov, driving Ukrainian forces out of the city's central areas. The Konka River has become a strategic focal point, as the disruption of crossings south of the river complicates Ukrainian supply lines.

In the Kharkov region, the Russian Defense Ministry stated that Battlegroup Sever has taken control of the settlements of Zarubinka and Goptovka as part of efforts to expand control zones.

Simultaneously, fighting continues in several other sectors, including the areas east of Orekhov and near the outskirts of Druzhkovka. The Russian Defense Ministry also reported significant combat losses for Ukrainian personnel and the interception of various aerial munitions, including HIMARS missiles and UAVs.
