Russian forces advance toward Druzhkivka in Donetsk Oblast

Russian forces are advancing toward the Ukrainian town of Druzhkivka in the Donetsk Oblast, causing significant destruction through the use of artillery and attack drones. The town, which has a population of approximately 50,000, sits along a strategic route within a series of fortified settlements that Russia is attempting to penetrate to secure the Donbas region.

Reports indicate that Russian troops have reached within 15 kilometers of Druzhkivka.
