Russian forces seize towns in Kharkiv, encircling Ukrainian units
Russian forces have expanded their control in the Kharkiv region by seizing the settlements of Dolguénkoye and Berezniki. According to reports from the Russian Ministry of Defense, these advances have tightened the encirclement around Ukrainian units in the area.
Approximately 1,700 Ukrainian combatants are reported to be trapped in the northern Kharkiv region, specifically near Vovchansk. Russian military officials claim that several attempts by Ukrainian groups to break through the encirclement have been unsuccessful.
