Russian forces seize two settlements in Zaporozhye and DPR

The Russian Defense Ministry has announced that its forces have seized control of two settlements in the Zaporozhye and Donetsk regions. According to the ministry, the Vostok group of forces advanced into Ukrainian defensive lines to take the settlement of Novosoloshino in the Zaporozhye region. Additionally, the Tsentr military group reported the capture of Andreevskaya Obshina in the Donetsk People's Republic.

These advances are described as strengthening Russian battlefield momentum, potentially threatening Ukrainian supply routes in Zaporozhye and increasing pressure on the areas near Druzhkovka and Kramatorsk.

The Russian Defense Ministry also reported significant Ukrainian military losses over the past day. This includes over 390 personnel lost in combat against the Tsentr battlegroup, along with armored combat vehicles, artillery systems, and radar stations. Additional reported losses were attributed to the Sever, Vostok, Zapad, Yug, and Dnepr battlegroups.
