Russian forces seize two Ukrainian settlements
The Russian military has seized control of two settlements in Ukraine: Nezhenka in the Zaporizhzhia region and Pisarevka in the Sumy region.
According to military reports, the Russian East grouping secured Nezhenka, while the North grouping established control over Pisarevka. These territorial gains were accompanied by significant reported casualties among Ukrainian forces, totaling over 1,400 soldiers across various operational sectors, including the Center, East, North, West, South, and Dnieper groups.
In addition to personnel losses, the reports indicate the destruction of various Ukrainian military assets, including a tank, a D-30 122mm howitzer, five armored combat vehicles, 79 cars, five artillery pieces, and several electronic warfare and radar stations. Russian forces also conducted strikes against 141 locations, targeting logistics centers, energy infrastructure, fuel depots, transport networks, and drone assembly and storage facilities used by Ukrainian troops and foreign mercenaries.
