Ukraine communication and logistics infrastructure hit by Russian strikes

Russian forces conducted a series of strikes targeting Ukrainian communication and logistics infrastructure. In Kyiv, the headquarters of Kyivstar, the country’s largest mobile operator, was hit, though no casualties were reported at that specific site. However, strikes on a data center in Kyiv reportedly injured two children and one adult.

Other communication targets included data centers belonging to Vodafone Ukraine and Omega Telecom. The attacks caused significant service disruptions, with approximately 100,000 households in Kyiv and surrounding areas temporarily losing internet connectivity. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha warned that targeting these facilities could impede the delivery of critical air raid alerts.

Logistical targets were also hit, including the Zalmer Group warehouse in the Kyiv region, which is used for distributing Western military aid. In the southern regions, Russian strikes hit drone warehouses in Mykolaiv and a drone stockpile in the Odessa region. Additionally, a dry cargo vessel transporting military equipment toward the port of Odessa was struck at sea.
