Russian German youth explore Danish German minority

Young members of the Russian German community participated in an exchange program to explore the experiences of the German minority in Denmark. Organized by the Riwwel gUG organization and supported by the Erasmus program, the initiative aimed to bridge the gap between different German minority groups by fostering dialogue and shared learning.

A group of fifteen young people from various backgrounds and locations in Germany traveled to North Schleswig to observe how the German minority in Denmark manages its cultural engagement and historical memory. The program, titled ‘Strengthening Minorities’, seeks to facilitate experience exchanges between youth organizations to prevent isolation within specific minority bubbles.
