Russian Iskander missile destroys house in Radushne, Ukraine, killing six including four children

A Russian Iskander ballistic missile launched from Voronezh struck a modest house in the rural village of Radushne, Dnipro region, Ukraine. Six people were recovered from the debris – the parents Olena (41) and Artem (47) Voronov, four of their children aged 6 to 17, and a one‑and‑a‑half‑year‑old nephew – while authorities continue to search for four other occupants believed to have been inside. The family dog survived, spotted by rescuers. The attack was part of a massive overnight Russian aerial campaign that fired more than 70 missiles and 280 drones across Ukraine. Ukrainian officials, including Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the Military Administration of Kryvyi Rih, said the strike underscored a critical shortage of air‑defence systems capable of intercepting high‑speed ballistic weapons. President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the bombing of a civilian home, calling the loss of life “unacceptable.”
