Galatasaray pushes ahead with multiple transfer moves

Galatasaray is actively negotiating several player deals. The club raised its bid for Turkish midfielder Can Uzun to a total of €40 million ( €35 million guaranteed plus a €5 million bonus) in an effort to close the gap with Eintracht Frankfurt, whose asking price has fallen to just under €50 million.

Former striker Mauro Icardi, the club’s all‑time leading foreign scorer, declined a farewell match proposed by president Dursun Özbek, citing a strained exit after his contract ended. Reports indicate Icardi has not yet confirmed a new club.

Meanwhile, Galatasaray has turned its attention to Russian midfielder Aleksey Batrakov of Lokomotiv Moscow. After PSG withdrew a €25 million deal due to sanctions, Galatasaray submitted a €25 million offer and is discussing a possible future‑sale clause, while Lokomotiv’s response remains unclear.
