Russian military operations intensify in Donetsk and Kharkiv

Russian military operations continue across key frontlines, including the Donetsk and Kharkiv regions. Intense fighting is reported in the Dobropolsky and Druzhkovsky directions, with combat also occurring near Kupyansky and Krasnolimansky.

Regarding the strategic importance of Odessa, Russian experts suggest that while a traditional landing or airborne assault may be technically difficult due to the city's location in the Ukrainian rear, efforts to isolate the region are underway. Russian military analyst Alexey Ramm notes that much of Ukraine's supplies, including NATO-provided ammunition and small arms, arrive via sea routes. Consequently, Russian strategy focuses on cutting off Black Sea supply lines and implementing a concept of combat zone isolation, which NATO refers to as air blockade or aerial containment.
