Russian military strikes Ukrainian ports and logistics hubs

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported a series of strikes targeting Ukrainian military logistics, ports, and industrial sites between August 27 and August 28.

In the Odesa region, Russian forces reportedly destroyed an oil tanker at Izmail Port, two fuel storage tanks, and several military equipment warehouses in Odesa Port. In Kyiv Oblast, strikes targeted a facility producing remote-controlled ground equipment and a logistics site for various drones. Additionally, Russian forces hit a warehouse containing ‘Flamingo’ missiles and missile propellant.

On the battlefield, Russian officials stated that offensive operations are continuing toward Donbas towns, including Slovyansk, Kramatorsk, and Druzhkivka. Regarding air defense, reports from August 27 indicated that Russian forces intercepted 591 fixed-wing drones, 19 guided aerial bombs, and two rockets.
