Russian OnlyFans model Sofya Vershinina receives suspended three‑year sentence, $60k fine and internet ban

A Moscow court convicted 21‑year‑old Sofya Vershinina, known online as Sonya Marmeládova, of producing and distributing sexually explicit videos on OnlyFans and Telegram. She was handed a three‑year suspended jail term, ordered to pay a fine of 4.8 million roubles (about $60,000) and barred from using the internet for three years. Her iPhone was seized, and the ban can be lifted only if she complies with the sentence’s conditions.

The case is part of President Vladimir Putin’s broader crackdown on online pornography, which has seen other Russian models such as Diana Shurygina detained. Authorities argue the industry violates traditional values and Russian law that has prohibited pornography since 1996.
