Russian State Duma elections conclude at embassy in Pakistan

Voting for the Russian State Duma elections has concluded at the Russian Embassy in Pakistan. Ambassador Albert P. Khorev reported that 130 individuals cast their ballots, including embassy staff, trade mission members, their families, and Russian citizens residing in or temporarily visiting Pakistan.

Observers from the Civic Chamber of Russia stated that the voting process followed established procedures without any identified violations. Despite local protest activity and traffic restrictions in Islamabad, the embassy coordinated with Pakistani authorities to provide transportation and information to ensure citizens could vote.
