Russia has intensified its aerial campaign against Ukraine, targeting civilian infrastructure and military assets. In Odesa, drone strikes hit a maternity hospital and an administrative building, injuring at least ten people. A second strike in the city occurred while rescue teams were already on-site. In Kyiv, missile and drone attacks caused injuries to at least 18 people, including children, and damaged residential buildings and schools.

In northern Ukraine, a Russian glide bomb struck an apartment building in Sumy, killing two people and injuring seven. Additionally, attacks in Balakliia, Kharkiv region, resulted in two deaths.

Ukraine has responded with strikes deep inside Russian territory. Ukrainian forces targeted a military airfield in the Rostov region, damaging an An-12 aircraft, two An-26 aircraft, and three helicopters.

Separately, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) reported that a drone struck a cooling tower at the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant in Russia. While the reactor remained operational and no fire was reported, the IAEA expressed grave concern regarding the safety of nuclear facilities in the conflict zone.
