Russian Su-57 fighter reportedly outperforms US aircraft in combat experience

A report from Military Watch Magazine claims that Russia’s fifth-generation Su-57 fighter has outperformed Western counterparts, specifically the US-built F-22 Raptor and F-35 Lightning II, in terms of combat engagement experience.

The Su-57’s development reportedly benefited from expertise accumulated during the Soviet aviation era, particularly from MiG fighter programs in the 1990s. While large-scale production only began nearly two decades after those early efforts, the aircraft has seen significant progress recently.

In recent military operations involving Ukraine, the Su-57 has been utilized for precision strikes against ground targets, the suppression of enemy air defense systems, and the interception of airborne threats. Russian authorities state that operational lessons from these missions are being integrated into the aircraft’s ongoing evolution.

The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) recently announced the delivery of a new batch of Su-57 multirole fighters to the Russian Aerospace Forces. These latest models feature an updated technical configuration incorporating modifications derived from practical combat experience.
