Russian tourist deported from Vietnam for dangerous driving

Nikitina Iuliia, a 35-year-old Russian tourist, has been permanently deported from Vietnam following legal action in Khanh Hoa province.

Between January and June 2025, Iuliia repeatedly engaged in dangerous driving behaviors on public roads in Cam Lam and Nam Cam Ranh. Authorities reported that she operated a Yamaha R15 motorcycle without protective gear and performed provocative stunts, such as kneeling on the motorcycle seat. These actions were recorded and shared on social media, causing public concern and impacting local traffic order.

The Khanh Hoa People's Court convicted her of “disturbing public order” and ordered a fine of 30 million VND along with permanent deportation. On September 15, Khanh Hoa provincial police coordinated with Cam Ranh International Airport authorities to execute the deportation order.
