Russian woman moves to Bac Ninh to live with Vietnamese husband

Elena, a Russian woman born in 1997, has moved to Bac Ninh, Vietnam, to live with her husband, Nguyen Ngoc Tung. The couple has been married for nine years after meeting in Russia in 2015, where Tung had been working since 2006.

Despite an age difference of 16 years and initial concerns from Elena's parents regarding cultural differences, the couple built a life together in Russia, where they had two children. Elena has spent the last year adapting to life in Vietnam, learning the Vietnamese language and integrating into the local community in Bac Ninh.
