Russians shocked by low prices and abundance in Polish discount shop

The visitors express amazement at the wide range of products and the low prices compared with those in Russia, where shortages and rising inflation have tightened supplies.

They point out specific prices, such as 400 g of blueberries costing about 240 ruble (≈12 zł), a kilogram of apples around 80 ruble (≈3.86 zł), and half a pineapple for 160 ruble. The couple jokes that they feel like "cavemen" in the well‑stocked aisles and urges the opening of borders so they can return with the abundance.

The footage appears amid reports that Russian consumer‑price indices have risen above 103 % year‑to‑date, with fruit and vegetable prices up over 2 % in recent weeks, highlighting the contrast between the two markets.
