Russian President Vladimir Putin has acknowledged that Ukrainian drone attacks on Russian industrial and infrastructure facilities are causing damage, though he maintains they are not critical to the national economy. Speaking at a meeting of the Council for Strategic Development and National Projects, Putin noted that while the attacks are "perjudicial" and cause harm, they will not have severe consequences.

In response to the strikes, which have targeted Russian refineries and the warehouses of the major e-commerce platform Wildberries, Putin has ordered the government to implement a program to restore logistics and storage capacities. He emphasized that the reconstruction should be carried out at a "qualitatively new technological level."

The attacks on Wildberries, which Ukraine claims provides parts for military drones, have reportedly caused significant damage, with some estimates placing losses in the hundreds of billions of rubles. Additionally, strikes on refineries have contributed to fuel shortages in certain Russian regions. Despite these disruptions and external pressures, Putin described Russia's economic growth as "moderate but positive," citing a GDP growth rate of approximately 1%.
