Rutgers soccer and Penn State hockey secure decisive victories

In collegiate athletics, the Rutgers men's soccer team secured a 4-0 victory against Northwestern. The Scarlet Knights established dominance early, scoring three goals within the first nine minutes of the match. Pius Ssebulime opened the scoring in the third minute, followed by Dan Karsten in the eighth and Amer Lukovic in the ninth. Lukovic later added a second goal in the 71st minute to finalize the score.

In women's hockey, Penn State completed a weekend sweep of Robert Morris with a 4-1 win. Freshman Sofia Ismael led the Nittany Lions with a hat trick, scoring in the first and third periods. Kylie Amelkovich also scored her first collegiate goal during the match. Penn State maintained control throughout, outshooting Robert Morris 29-4.
