Ruthie Foster releases new single “Tangled” ahead of August album “Just Say Yes”

Grammy‑winning Austin‑based singer‑songwriter Ruthie Foster has issued the blues‑rock single “Tangled,” co‑written and produced with Tyler Bryant in Nashville. The track serves as a preview for her forthcoming studio album Just Say Yes, scheduled for release on August 28 through Sun Records.

Foster described “Tangled” as a personal anthem about truth‑telling and breaking free after recovering from knee surgery. The album features additional collaborations with Rebecca and Megan Lovell of Larkin Poe and Mike Seal, blending soul, roots and blues influences. Alongside the single, she announced a new series of tour dates across North America and Europe, including a show on October 5 in New York City.
