Rutigliano, Italy, launches summer cultural festivals in July‑August

The Ad Libitum festival, organized by Epos Teatro and directed by Maurizio Pellegrini, runs from 21 July to 18 August in the historic courtyards of Rutigliano. The programme, titled “Tra Campi e Corti”, blends music, theatre, narration and family activities. Highlights include Samuel Mele’s original piece “Il santo sforzo di capire cosa sia l’amore” (21 July), Radicanto’s “Un mondo di Cenerentole. Il giro del mondo in ottanta scarpe” (4 August), Simone Fontanelli’s Pinocchio‑inspired concert “C’era una volta un pezzo di legno” (11 August) and a finale interpreting classic myths on 18 August.

On 22 July, Rutigliano hosted the eighth edition of the “Oscar del Libro” literary series in Piazza Colamussi. The event, presented by Veronica Ruggeri and overseen by artistic director Manila Gorio with journalist Vincenzo De Marino, showcased the latest book by a correspondent from the television program “Le Iene”.
