Ruud Nijstad not for sale despite FC Barcelona interest

FC Twente technical director Erik ten Hag has denied rumors regarding the potential transfer of defender Ruud Nijstad to FC Barcelona. Despite reports from Mundo Deportivo suggesting the 18-year-old desired a move to the Spanish club, Ten Hag stated that Nijstad is not for sale.

Nijstad recently extended his contract with the Enschede-based club until mid-2029. While Barcelona reportedly made an eight-million-euro offer, Ten Hag emphasized that the player intends to remain at FC Twente to pursue success this season. Nijstad is currently considered one of the club's most valuable players, with a market value of approximately ten million euros.
