Ruvo Coro Festival features jazz performance in Ruvo di Puglia

The Ruvo Coro Festival recently hosted a musical performance at the Teatro Comunale in Ruvo di Puglia, featuring prominent Italian musicians Danilo Rea on piano, Massimo Moriconi on double bass, and drummer Ellade Bandini (or Giovanni Colasanti, per varying reports).

The performance focused on a journey through the great Italian song repertoire, blending jazz influences with technical virtuosity and improvisation. The artists provided tributes to renowned authors and performers, including Mina, creating a dynamic dialogue between the instruments.

The event was organized by the Associazione Corale Polifonica ‘Michele Cantatore’ under the artistic direction of Angelo Anselmi, with support from the Municipality of Ruvo di Puglia and the Puglia Regional Council.
