Ruvo di Puglia launches fourth annual school supply drive

The “Zaino sospeso” (Suspended Backpack) initiative has returned to Ruvo di Puglia for its fourth consecutive year. This community solidarity campaign aims to collect school supplies to support vulnerable families, ensuring children and teenagers can begin the new school year with necessary materials like notebooks, pencils, pens, and backpacks.

The project is coordinated by Caritas Minori and facilitated through a network of associations, including Legàmi, Il Regno di Oz, and the Istituto Sacro Cuore. Francesco Berardi, president of Legàmi, noted that the initiative serves as a link between various collaborating organizations to promote inclusion and equality among students.
