RWDM Brussels leaves Eagle Football, local board regains control

RWDM Brussels announced its exit from the Eagle Football network, a group led by U.S. businessman John Textor. The club confirmed the transfer of control back to Thierry Dailly, who resumes the presidency. The change follows an administrative relegation to Belgium's third division and a prolonged financial and institutional restructuring. The new management pledged to stabilise the club, adopt an independent sporting strategy and restore sustainable finances. The departure marks another step in the dismantling of Textor's multi‑club project, after Lyon also left Eagle Football earlier this year.
