Ryan, 13, turns thousands of cans into charity donations via We Can CIC FAST-MOVING

Ryan, a 13-year-old from England, has founded We Can CIC, a Community Interest Company that converts recycled aluminum cans into charitable donations. The initiative collects approximately 20,000 cans per week.

Ryan and his family collect the cans, crush them in their Solihull garage, and sell them to scrap metal centers. The proceeds, along with food items, are donated to various organizations, including Anawim, a support center for women in Birmingham. The project contributes roughly 5,000 pounds annually to charity.

Beyond the financial impact, the initiative helps address recycling challenges in Birmingham, which had faced waste collection issues due to previous worker strikes.
