Ryan Castro and Eddie Santiago release salsa-urban fusion ‘Lluvia (Awoo)’

Colombian urban artist Ryan Castro has collaborated with Puerto Rican salsa legend Eddie Santiago to release ‘Lluvia (Awoo)’. The track is a contemporary reinterpretation of Santiago’s 1986 romantic salsa classic, ‘Lluvia’.

The collaboration aims to bridge generations by blending the original melodic essence of the 1980s hit with Castro’s signature urban and reggaeton sounds. The official music video was filmed at the Museo de la Salsa in the Obrero neighborhood of Cali, Colombia, a location central to the city’s salsa heritage.

Castro is scheduled to perform the song live for the first time on October 17 during his concert at the Pascual Guerrero Stadium in Cali.
