Ryan Fosso transfers from Sturm Graz to Standard Liège

Ryan Fosso, the 24-year-old Cameroonian defensive midfielder, is transferring from the Austrian club SK Sturm Graz to Standard Liège in Belgium.

Sturm Graz confirmed the departure, stating they reached a good agreement with Standard Liège after the player expressed a desire for a new challenge and more playing time. Fosso joined the Austrian side in January from Fortuna Sittard and made 20 appearances, recording two goals and one assist.

Fosso noted that while his time in Graz was brief, he enjoyed the club and city, but seeks a new challenge to remain in the spotlight for the Cameroonian national team. The transfer follows Sturm Graz's exit from the Champions League, which has reportedly increased the club's need to manage finances through player sales.
