Ryan Garcia to defend WBC welterweight title against Conor Benn

Ryan Garcia is set to defend his WBC welterweight world title against Conor Benn on September 12 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Garcia, who won the title in February by defeating Mario Barrios, has claimed that undefeated legend Terence Crawford is currently assisting Benn with his training preparations.

Garcia dismissed the impact of Crawford’s involvement, stating that technical advice would not prevent him from winning the bout. Following the fight, Garcia has expressed interest in unification matches against Teofimo Lopez or a rematch with Devin Haney, as well as a potential showdown with Crawford.

In preparation for the match, Benn has been training in Los Angeles with undefeated Swedish professional boxer Noel Gabor, who is serving as a sparring partner. Gabor, managed by former world champion Armand Krajnc, holds a 5-0 professional record.
